1. Peace and Quiet: As mentioned earlier, suburban areas are located a few kilometers away from the city center. This always takes away some of the undesirable effects of living in an urban area, like pollution and traffic. 2. Better Places of Learning: Most of the best schools in the Philippines are starting to move in suburban areas. This is probably because it’s a little far away from the noise and the traffic of the big city, thus giving children and young adults a good place for learning. 3. Cost of Living: Living in the suburbs might be a little too pricey because of commuting expenses. Those who live near the city don’t have to commute as far as those who live in suburban areas. However, there is one small difference between the urban and suburban dweller; urban dwellers usually spend half of their annual expenditures on transportation and housing while suburban dwellers only a small amount of their annual expenses on housing improvements. This only shows that the suburban areas are good places for people who are conscious about their annual budgets.
4. Better Recreational Facilities: It’s not surprising that golf courses, nature parks, beach and mountain resorts, and other nature-tripping activities are always held near suburban areas. If you love the great outdoors but you don’t want to live too far away from the convenience of the big city, then it’s only natural to look for awesome houses near suburban communities here in the Philippines.
