Expatriate Philippine real estate agents in Qatar, as well as targeting local property buyers and investors, will also be tempting the high number of overseas foreign workers from the country with what is being touted as the first Philippine Property Show in Qatar next month.
Organised by the Association of Filipino Real Estate Executives in Qatar a spokesman told the Gulf Times website that “… such properties could always withstand any economic turmoil. Greece is a clear example. All of its beach front hotel accommodations remain to be at 98 percent occupancy despite the country’s ongoing financial crisis”.
The association is holding the property exhibition in Doha on October 23 ad 24, and as well as featuring many of the Philippine’s leading property developers, it will also feature investment and information seminars, and a host of networking opportunities.
The spokesman added: “The Philippines is the most affordable place to own luxury branded properties such as Milano, Versace, Missoni, and Trump. International icons such as Paris Hilton also have signature properties in the country.”
The price of property in the Philippines is the third lowest in Southeast Asia.
