This is the time of the year when people would consult Chinese feng shui to determine which aspect of their life and home they should change in order to attract good luck and drive away bad luck. According to Chinese feng shui, the kitchen is probably the most important part a property, since this is where meals are prepared and is a symbol of wealth and prosperity. - If your kitchen is close to the main entrance or exit points of your home, then this means that good luck energy escapes too quickly from the kitchen. In order to counter this, you can either close the door or move your kitchen area to another part of the house where it is not too near the door.
- A well-organized kitchen always invites positive and high-healing energy while a kitchen that is always dirty and full of clutter attracts the opposite energy. Always keep your kitchen clean and organized. This includes your cupboards as well!
- Proper lighting of the kitchen is important, since light attracts positive energy and repels negative energy. You can put windows, but take care not to place too many windows in the kitchen.
