Fire and blood is the motto of House Targaryen, the royal dynasty of the infamous future queen of Westeros, Daenerys Targaryen. But for the actress who plays the iconic female role in HBO’s Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke, modern and classy is the way to go. This preference in taste can be seen in Clarke’s latest purchase, a $4.64 million dollar home in Venice, California.
The Valley girl vibe is unmistakable in the glorious 2,800 square feet space. Remodeled in 2009 by hip architect, Abramson Teiger, the property has floor to ceiling wall of glass that gives access to the California sun. Giant gliding doors surround the living room. It was said that the property is protected, not by dragons, but by 80 year old olive trees.
Meanwhile, the dining room has a huge bookcase, perfect for those large fantasy books that George R.R. Martin wrote. The kitchen has wooden cabinets and marble backsplash complete with a large island.
The masters bedroom is fit for a queen with its view of the whole city, a walk in closet, and a grand bath.
The Khaleesi will have a grand time entertaining guests and admirers at her backyard. The house also has a 30 foot pool.
Emilia Clarke became a household name thanks to her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. She earned Emmy nominations because for the role. She also starred in movies Terminator: Genisys and Me Before You.
