DMCI Homes recently began unit handovers in the second building of its Sheridan Towers project with work on the development now concluded. This was originally scheduled to happen in May but was postponed until July due to the country’s Enhanced Community Quarantine protections.
The 43-story North Tower is one of two residential buildings that comprise Sheridan Towers. The first tower was completed in 2017 and is now sold out. It is situated along the boundary of Pasig and Mandaluyong City in Metro Manila.
More than 60 percent of the entire development’s space is dedicated to resort-inspired amenities and outdoor areas, a signature of DMCI Homes. Amenities include gardens, several swimming pools, a basketball court and a children’s play area.
Completing the unit handover required the developer to adapt its current processes to accommodate the new normal. This is the first project DMCI Homes has turned over to clients since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March.
“Aside from observing strict physical distancing and health protocols, we will also maximize the use of digital channels and online payment options to ensure the safety of our unit owners,” Dennis Yap, DMCI Homes Vice President for Project Development, said. “Like all DMCI Homes developments, Sheridan Towers is designed to offer an environment that promotes the wellness and well-being of residents.”
DMCI Homes emphasis healthy condo spaces
For years, DMCI Homes has added features and amenities that allow for improved health and wellbeing. One of the developer’s key innovations is the Lumiventt® Design Technology it has incorporated at Sheridan Towers and many other condo projects under its watch.
The technology creates a proprietary building design that provides improved cross-ventilation and natural illumination for maximum health benefits. Projects have three-story high openings, known as ‘Sky Patios’, and landscaped atriums which help promote better air circulation and further enhance the open feel of the interiors.
