~ Solar Panel: 540Wp capacity solar panels are installed each unit to harness the energy of the sun for electricity
~ Light Colors: the façade and roof are painted with light colors for the heat to be reflected and not penetrate in to the house.
~ Insulated Roof: the roof is insulated with 2” thick glass wool insulation so that heat cannot penetrate thru the roof.
~ North-South Orientation: each unit is facing north or south so that sunlight will not directly hit the front and rear faces of the house.
~ Semi-Landscaped: the front yard and the sidewalk are planted with grass to lessen the heat in the surroundings.
~ Wide Roof Overhang: the roof overhang is 0.8m wide, double the conventional, to provide more shade to the house.
~ Casement Windows: all operable windows are casement-type with 100% opening to allow for maximum natural ventilation.
~ Insulated Exterior Walls: 6”thick insulated perlite hollow blocks are installed for exterior walls to lessen heat penetration thru the walls.
~ Ventilated Attic: the roof eaves are provided with ventilation to allow the trapped heat inside the attic to escape.
~ Water-Saving Toilets: the water closets are dual flush with tank capacities of 6 & 3 letters per flush to conserve water.
~ Low-Flow Shower Heads: the shower heads have a low-flow rate of 8L/min to minimized wasted clean water in the shower.
